Collar rib: 95% cotton, 5% elastane

The body is 100% cotton. There is no elastane in it — that is a deliberate choice, because elastane in a body fabric is what makes a heavyweight tee go slack at the hem after a season. The only elastane in the garment is the 5% in the collar rib, which is what allows the neckline to recover its shape.

Build

Construction

Boxy through the body with a clean dropped shoulder and a hem that stops at the hip. Cut to read as deliberate on a lean frame and relaxed on a muscular one, without the length that turns a tee into a longline.

Honest limits

What this garment is not

It is not a technical performance product. It does not wick moisture faster than cotton wicks moisture, it is not antimicrobial, and it will not make you stronger.

At 265 GSM in a hot climate it is a substantial tee — that weight is what gives it the drape and the shape retention, and it is also why it is warmer than a 150 GSM shirt. If you want something to run in at midday in July, this is the wrong product and we would rather say so here than take the return.

Tumble dry low or line dry
Warm iron on the reverse
Do not iron directly over embroidery

The fabric is pre-shrunk and compacted. Washing cold protects the colour depth and the collar rib.
